Welcoming Tejas Tagra – Sequeira Lab’s New Communications Assistant!

We’re thrilled to welcome Tejas Tagra to the Sequeira Lab as our new Communications Assistant at the Australian National University!

Tejas is currently pursuing a degree in Computing, majoring in Cybersecurity. While his academic background focuses on securing digital systems, Tejas has a keen interest in science communication. He’s joining the lab to help strengthen our engagement efforts—sharing the work we do with both the scientific community and the broader public.

Beyond his studies, Tejas has worked on a range of creative digital projects involving writing, design, and content production. He’s looking forward to learning from the researchers at the lab and exploring how digital storytelling can support environmental science and conservation.

In his role as Communications Assistant, Tejas will contribute to writing and editing articles, managing digital media, and supporting broader outreach activities and communications for the lab. His technical skills, creativity, and enthusiasm for science communication make him a fantastic addition to our growing team.

We’re delighted to have him onboard and look forward to the contributions he’ll make in helping communicate the important work of the Sequeira Lab!
