The PhD student Jorge Medina is ending his visit to the Sequeira Lab. After 3 months of hard work on the development of machine learning techniques to better predict marine animal trajectories, Jorge will be back to Spain, where he will be finishing is PhD this year.
As his farewell, the Sequeira Group went to the Royal Canberra Show. This event is organised by the Royal National Capital Agricultural Society and, having agriculture at its core, it aims to promote entertainment, education and exhibitions. In this way, not just Jorge, but all the Sequeira Lab members here in Canberra could enjoy and learn about the Australian ways and the Outback.
Thanks to Jorge for the nice moments spent together during these last months.
Safe travels for Jorge, and best of luck for his PhD!
