SequeiraLab is currently celebrating a thesis submission! Charlotte Birkmanis has recently submitted her PhD thesis entitled 'Spatial and temporal distribution of Indo-Pacific pelagic sharks'. She was co-supervised by Dr Ana M. M. Sequeira, Professor Leigh Simmons, and Assoc Professor Julian Partridge, and published two of the her chapters as peer-reviewed articles in Global Ecology and Conservation and Frontiers in Marine Science. Charlotte has also published another article included as supplementary information in her thesis and has a third manuscript in preparation for submission.
At The University of Western Australia, students in the Graduate Research School receive a 'PhinisheD' mug to mark their thesis submission, and Charlotte is proudly displaying hers below.
