Talking Marine Megafauna at the Pub
Join A/Prof Ana Sequeira tomorrow evening at Wildlife Tales in Canberra for National Science Week, where she will share her insights marine megafauna migration and conservation.
Tomorrow evening (Tuesday 12th August), our Lab Lead, A/Prof Ana Sequeira will be taking part of the engaging public event Wildlife Tales: Marine Megafauna, Fairywrens & Conflict Resolution to be held at King O’Malley’s in Canberra as part of National Science Week 2025.
Ana will be sharing insights from her research on marine megafauna, exploring how these ocean giants migrate across the globe and connect ecosystems in remarkable ways. Her talk will also feature her recent findings from the MegaMove project. The evening will feature talks from other researchers from the ANU Research School of Biology, Dr Damien Farine and Fran Hacker.
This Inspiring initiative, supported by the Australian Government and the ACT Government, offers a unique opportunity to engage with science in a casual and welcoming environment. It is a great opportunity to learn more about marine megafauna, ask questions, and connect with scientists and science enthusiasts alike.
